19 Half-Up Wedding Hairstyles

I get asked by brides all the time for a half-updo on their big day. If you can't decide to wear it up or down, then do both! Up-dos are my favorite part of being a hairdresser because it really allows me to be truly creative. Each head is a new canvas for me. It's wearable art! I also work really well with pictures. When a client schedules a trial run or a special occasion 'do, I always ask them to get on Pinterest and bring me a few pics of the style they want. Sometimes pictures are so much better than words, and I've learned that some people just are not good at putting their vision into words. So wasn't I happy when Pinterest came into the picture!?! Gosh I love Pinterest so much... anyways, so I've gathered a collection of some of my favorite half-updos as inspiration for when you guys have to take a picture to your stylist for an updo.
